Green as hanging Heliconia
beneath the rosy moonlight

chattering incessantly out loud about the troubled stonework

matching observations made blindly
with smell-less reminiscence

seamlessly turning a seam in air
swearing fealty to none

syncopated sliding through a door
whose way is blocked by aspic

picking melodies
still ripening
waiting until greenness sings

climbing heliconia
steps down
to meet the moon set red
